Teaching Expo

It's almost time for another Virtual Teaching Expo.. (Nov. 12th)....the topic this time is TEACHING TIPS...are you registered and ready? I LOVE the idea of being able to learn from other teachers who inspire me to be a better teacher....but I also REALLY love being able to do it from the comfort of my own home.
Why am I attending??
What am I looking for??
If your school district is like mine, you're heavily involved in providing interventions for students (RTI). I plan to go to the Expo to learn ways to manage the interventions without ignoring the other students....what is the right number of interventions and more. A key factor I think is keeping things organized...Organization is another topic in this expo. Other topics include creating a classroom of independent learners and ways to add excitement into your teaching day!
If you haven't already registered, click on the image below so you can take advantage of the pre-event price. Just think, you can attend in your p.j.'s
Don't forget to sign up while the price is discounted:
Oh and if you attend Nov 12-14 you get a GREAT GOODIE BAG!!

Putting Skills into Action

I was so excited to see that Hadar over at Miss Kindergarten has already taken some of what I shared at the Teaching Blog Expo and put it to work on her blog. Check out her tutorial on Embedding a Document in Google Docs.
If you missed out on the Expo...don't worry...you can purchase a copy of the recording starting Sept 24th! You can view it ANYTIME it fits into your schedule!  I LOVE that concept....learning when it's convenient for YOU!
There were a lot of really good ideas and tips shared! Whether you're new to blogging or an old pro...you're bound to learn some really great tips!
PS...check out my  EXPO Q & A post for additional TIPS.

Save the Date...

What are you doing Saturday, Sept. 17th? What if I told you that you could join teachers from all over the globe in an expo? I know what you're thinking...school is back in  session and you just don't want to think of getting out of bed and going to an expo on a Saturday!! What if I told you that you can attend this expo in your favorite PJ's....you don't have to curl your hair or even get out of bed? Yes, I know sounds too good to be true...but you can do that and more!
TBA is once again leading the way for teachers. This time it's an ONLINE EXPO! You can sign up and participate in sessions to help you learn more about blogging. Interested? Click on the button below to learn more! I promise you there's  really nothing like it out there....
