Our Mother's Day Gifts

Here are the photos of our Mother's Day gifts. We start out with 2 blank templates.

Each child draws four pictures that mom will like.

The templates get copied 3 times on to cardstock and cut into individual cards. (Walmart has the best price around town for cardstock). The kids fold their designs and stack them. They count out 12 envelopes.

We tie the whole packet with ribbon or a band of paper. Each card set goes in a cute gift bag.

Hi Brandy,
I just got my envelopes tonight at Walmart. I paid a just over $3 per box of 50. I have ordered from Office Depot in the past, the price is better if I order through my District's discount. The time got away from me this year so I went to Walmart. The big box office stores charge an arm and a leg for them! They also sell the card stock at Walmart for a decent price. I can't recall the price off the top of my head. The stationary really turns out so stinkin' cute! If you have a Michael's or JoAnn's Fabric Store in your area, they have the bags cheap and you can use their 40% off coupon! ;-) Good Luck! If you find the supplies at a good price, let us know!

Would you be willing to send me an electronic copy of your template for the cards? I love this idea and would like to do it with my students this year. Thanks for sharing!
